Renaissance Patio Products

Renaissance Patio Products is a manufacturer and distributor of premium outdoor living structures — patio covers, patio roofing, screen rooms, pergolas, sunrooms, and gazebos — designed and engineered for homes across the United States. The company was founded by Christopher Noe with a clear premise: that the outdoor living space market deserved better products, engineered more seriously, distributed more intelligently, and installed by better-qualified contractors.

The product line reflects that commitment. Renaissance Patio’s structures are manufactured from 100% extruded aluminum — the same material used in aircraft fuselages — engineered to withstand South Florida’s high-wind hurricane zone (rated to 175 mph) as well as Rocky Mountain snow loads of up to 85 pounds per square foot. The product models — Moderno, Contempo, Classico, Fresco, Aria, Dolce, and Lumino — cover the full range of outdoor living applications, from translucent polycarbonate patio covers to fully enclosed aluminum sunrooms with impact glass.

What distinguishes Renaissance Patio in its market is not only product quality but the go-to-market model Chris Noe built from the beginning. Rather than selling direct to homeowners or through retail channels, Renaissance Patio operates through a carefully curated network of vetted, qualified independent contractor-dealers — each serving a defined geographic territory, each trained on Renaissance Patio products and installation standards, each accountable for the customer experience in their market.

Homeowners visiting RenaissancePatio.com submit a quote request and are connected with up to three local preferred installers who prepare estimates for their specific project. The dealer does the site consultation, the design, the installation, and the customer relationship — supported by Renaissance Patio’s product quality, engineering documentation, and the operational infrastructure that makes a network of independent contractors function as a cohesive national brand.

That infrastructure — the digital backbone connecting consumer leads to qualified dealers, enabling online design and quoting, managing the full order lifecycle, and providing contractors with the training and operational tools they need — is what 305 Spin built, and what has powered Renaissance Patio’s growth for the better part of a decade.

“305 Spin has been an absolutely stellar partner with us from day one. Having John and Kevin as trusted advisors when it comes to all things technology has allowed us to scale rapidly without having to rely on purely in-house talent. We started working with 305 on a small marketing project, but at this point, have now built my industry’s finest lead and dealer management portal. I could not be happier with their partnership and service.”

HOW IT STARTED

A lead generation challenge. A much larger opportunity.

305 Spin’s relationship with Renaissance Patio began through Chris Noe’s Launch Together enterprise — a business development and growth platform through which Chris was building Renaissance Patio’s market presence, beginning in Florida and the Southeast.

The initial challenge was straightforward: Renaissance Patio had relationships with major manufacturers of outdoor living products and a growing network of qualified contractor-dealers, but no systematic way to connect consumer interest — generated through the website and marketing — to the right contractor in the right geography. Leads were being lost, delayed, or handled inconsistently. The manual process that worked at early scale was becoming a liability as the business grew.

305 Spin was brought in to solve the lead generation and distribution problem. What became clear quickly was that the lead problem was the visible symptom of a deeper operational need: to operate a national dealer network of independent contractors at quality and consistency, Renaissance Patio needed a full back-office platform — not just a lead router, but a system that could manage the entire relationship between a consumer inquiry and a completed installation.

We started working with 305 on a small marketing project, but at this point, have now built my industry’s finest lead and dealer management portal.

That evolution — from a targeted lead generation engagement to a full business operating platform — is the story of the Renaissance Patio relationship. It’s also a story that could only happen with a technology partner invested enough in the business to see the larger opportunity and capable enough to build toward it over time.

THE PLATFORM

From lead to installation. One connected system.

The Renaissance Patio platform 305 Spin built is a custom Angular and .NET extranet that serves as the operational backbone of the entire dealer network — a single connected system handling every stage of the customer and contractor experience.

Foundation   Lead Generation & Distribution

The platform begins where the customer journey begins: the consumer-facing website. Quote requests submitted through RenaissancePatio.com are captured and processed by the platform, which then routes each lead to the appropriate qualified contractor-dealer based on geography, availability, and workload — using a round-robin distribution model that ensures fair, systematic lead allocation across the dealer network. Follow-up workflows are automated: dealers receive lead notifications with full customer context, and the system tracks response times, follow-up activity, and conversion rates across the network.

Design Layer   Custom CAD System Integration — Online Design & Quoting

One of the most technically distinctive elements of the Renaissance Patio platform is its integration with a separate CAD design system. When a dealer takes on a project, they can initiate a custom design workflow directly through the portal — submitting project specifications and customer requirements that flow into the CAD system, which generates engineered structural designs and product configurations. Those designs and associated quotes return to the portal, where dealers can review, refine, and present them to the customer. This integration closes the gap between lead and estimate that historically required multiple disconnected tools and manual handoffs.

Order Management   Full Order Lifecycle — Entry Through Fulfillment

Once a customer commits to a project, the platform manages the complete order lifecycle: order entry with full product configuration, order status tracking, manufacturing coordination, shipping logistics, and installation scheduling. Dealers enter orders directly through the portal, and the system manages the workflow from that point through product delivery — providing visibility to both the dealer and Renaissance Patio’s internal operations team at every stage. Product configurations are validated against Renaissance Patio’s engineering specifications at the point of entry, reducing order errors before they reach manufacturing.

Operations Hub   Dealer Training & Operations Platform

The portal also serves as the primary training and operations resource for the dealer network. Installation documentation, product specifications, engineering drawings, training materials, and operational guides are accessible to dealers through the same platform they use daily for lead and order management — reducing the friction of getting a new dealer productive and ensuring that standards and documentation stay current across the network.

Data Exchange   Multi-System API Integrations

The platform manages bidirectional data exchange with numerous outside systems through REST APIs — importing and exporting data for product catalogs, pricing, order status, dealer account management, and the CAD integration. These API connections keep the portal synchronized with Renaissance Patio’s manufacturing and operations systems in real time, ensuring that what dealers see in the portal reflects the current state of their orders and products.

Infrastructure   Azure Cloud Hosting — Client-Controlled & Internal

The platform is hosted across both client-controlled Azure infrastructure and 305 Spin’s internal Azure environment, providing the flexibility and redundancy appropriate for a mission-critical business system. SQL Server manages the central database. The split hosting model reflects the operational reality of a long-term partnership where 305 Spin is genuinely embedded in the client’s business infrastructure — not a hands-off vendor but an ongoing technical team.

TECHNICAL DEPTH

Built for complexity. Designed for the people using it.

Angular Frontend — Contractor-First UX

The platform’s Angular frontend is built around the daily reality of an independent contractor-dealer: someone who is primarily in the field, not at a desk, managing customer relationships, project schedules, and an active installation pipeline. The interface is designed to be fast, clear, and complete — presenting the right information at the right step of the workflow without requiring dealers to navigate complex menus or manage data in disconnected tools. Lead intake, design requests, order entry, and status tracking all live in a single coherent experience.

Headless .NET Backend — Business Logic & Integration Layer

All business logic lives in the .NET backend API layer — the engine that governs lead distribution rules, order validation, workflow state management, and system integrations. The headless architecture means the frontend can evolve independently, new integrations can be added at the API layer without disrupting the user experience, and the business rules that govern how Renaissance Patio’s dealer network operates are codified in one place.

CAD System Integration — The Design Workflow

The integration with Renaissance Patio’s CAD design system is architecturally notable because it connects a web-based business platform to an engineering software environment — systems that are typically completely disconnected in the outdoor living products industry. 305 Spin designed and built the integration layer that allows dealers to submit project specifications through the portal and receive engineered structural designs and associated product quotes back — eliminating the manual handoff between sales and design that most competitors still manage through email, phone, and spreadsheets.

Lead Distribution Logic

The lead distribution system is more than a simple router. It incorporates dealer geography, active territory assignments, workload balancing, and availability parameters — ensuring that leads are distributed fairly and systematically, that no dealer is consistently over- or under-served, and that follow-up timelines and conversion metrics are tracked at the individual dealer level. This visibility is what allows Renaissance Patio to hold its dealer network accountable to quality and response standards without a large internal operations staff.

SEVEN YEARS OF GROWTH

The platform grows as the business grows.

What makes the Renaissance Patio engagement distinctive in 305 Spin’s portfolio is the length and depth of the relationship — and what that relationship has produced over seven to eight years of continuous development.

The platform that exists today is not the platform that was launched. It has been continuously extended, refined, and expanded as Renaissance Patio has grown — from a regional Florida operation to a national dealer network, from a single-category product company to a full six-category outdoor living brand, from manual lead handling to a largely automated lead-to-installation pipeline.

Each expansion of the business has driven a corresponding expansion of the platform. New product categories required new configuration options in the order management system. Geographic expansion required more sophisticated territory management in the lead distribution engine. New manufacturer partnerships required new API integrations. Growing dealer count required more robust training and documentation infrastructure.

305 Spin has been the technology team through all of it — not a project vendor that completed a scope and moved on, but an ongoing partner that understands the business well enough to anticipate what the platform needs to do next, and builds it before the current system becomes the constraint.

Having John and Kevin as trusted advisors when it comes to all things technology has allowed us to scale rapidly without having to rely on purely in-house talent.

That observation is the best summary of what this relationship actually is. Renaissance Patio doesn’t have a CTO. It doesn’t have an internal development team. It has 305 Spin — and that has been sufficient to build and operate what Renaissance Patio describes as the industry’s finest lead and dealer management portal.

The engagement continues. 305 Spin is actively adding new features to the platform to further automate the lead generation and fulfillment process — the same work that has been ongoing since the relationship began, applied to the current stage of Renaissance Patio’s growth.
